Our Team


Lance is a former lifer, Marine combat veteran, Rising Scholars honors graduate, and CSUF Project Rebound honors graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. After serving a decade behind bars, he transformed his past into purpose — dedicating his life to education and peer-led trauma-informed rehabilitation. As our Program Director, Lance leads curriculum design and program facilitation.

T. has a deep belief in people’s ability to grow and change. They’ve spent five years working in the public sector supporting incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals, as well as people impacted by cancer. With a Master’s degree in Public Administration and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management, T. oversees strategy, communications, and program evaluation as our Executive Director.

Mia, an American Pitbull Terrier, is a rescue and proud graduate of Wiley’s Wish Stripes & Paws program at Soledad State Prison. Kiwi, an Australian Shepherd and Golden Retriever mix, is also a rescue and our resident expert in big heartedness. Together, they bring boundless energy and curiosity to the team — and remind us to take breaks, lead with compassion, and never underestimate the power of presence.
